With our complete personal training programs and therapies, your goal is our goal- we want to always listen to you and cater to your individual needs. We believe in our philosophy of building the engine first, that is-we make you stronger, more stable, functional and flexible -before the next phase and working towards your goal. When we do this first- your results are maximized with less chance of injury so we can safely move to the results phase of your program, without having to go back to rebuild. We believe in a movement screening before starting any training program to maximize results and avoid injury. Because you are unique and you need a personalized training program designed specifically for you, we put our 25+ years of experience to work for you from the very first meeting.

We always strive for you to achieve maximum performance. We like to do it correctly the first time so you are not constantly looking for that new “thing” that will get you the results…you have found it here! Besides Personal Training, we have added other therapies to get your body on track as well; ARPwave, Hyperbaric Oxygen, Massage, and Neurological Brain training. We truly want to be your one stop shop for all of your needs.

MEET THE TEAM

  • John Marshall

    Owner and Founder

    John Marshall is a highly experienced personal trainer, athletic coach, ARPwave Neuro-Therapist, and certified Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy operator with over 25 years of hands-on work helping clients of all ages and abilities—from youth and seniors to elite athletes and individuals recovering from injury or neurological challenges. Beginning his career at the Baylor College of Sports Medicine more than 30 years ago, John has earned certifications through ISSA, ACE, PFIT, USA Cycling, USA BMX, and the International Board of Undersea Medicine, while continuing advanced education through NSCA, Westside Barbell, Michael Boyle, ARPwave, and more.

    John specializes in performance-based programming, pain reduction, neuro-therapy, and functional recovery, and has helped clients regain balance, improve fine motor skills, and overcome limiting mindsets. As an accomplished cyclist, former Colorado State Track Sprint Champion, and member of the U.S. National and Masters World Championship teams, he brings elite-level athletic insight to every session. His programs are designed individually for each client and delivered in Total Body Works’ private, high-performance facility.

  • Jenny Marshall

    Owner and Founder

    Jenny contributes as a Massage Therapist. She loves being able to help ease her clients pain. She uses neuromuscular therapy techniques as well as cupping and scrapping techniques. She tailors the treatments to your individual needs. She is also certified as a Trainer so she can help rebuild strength and mobility off of the table. 

    Jenny has a desire to help anyone achieve optimal health no matter what their age or ability level is. She believes that we are ALL created for greatness and that movement is life- if you don’t move, your quality of life will deteriorate. She is dedicated to helping you achieve your personal goals — whatever they are.

    Outside of the gym Jenny enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, and serving at church.

  • Kris Gieske

    Kris was an active duty soldier for the U.S. Army for four years and served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. After medically retiring from the Army in 2011, he decided to help our nation’s wounded warriors through adaptive physical training. Kris completed a bachelor's degree in Strength and Conditioning from UCCS with a minor in Nutrition. While pursuing his degree, Kris spent his time volunteering as a trainer to assist wounded, ill, and injured soldiers. Kris also worked for Champion Health Associates as their Director of Strength Rehabilitation and Performance Training. Kris has worked with everyone from older adults to elite athletes for the past 10+ years. With an extensive background in helping people regain balance and motor control skills after brain injuries, he has helped people regain hope and ownership of their body. Kris enjoys strength sports and competed in Powerlifting.

  • Nikki Carter

    Nikki is dedicated to helping individuals reach their personal fitness goals. While working full-time throughout her adult life, raising two sons over the years, and still finding quality time with her spouse, she understands the challenges that come with finding personal time to devote to exercise and healthy habits.

    Through motivating and researched-based programming, she strives to provide clients with an accessible and achievable path to better physical health. 

    Nikki is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, passionate about encouraging and inspiring people to push their boundaries, and is committed to helping her clients work towards becoming a
    healthier, and more confident person. 

    Growing up in Colorado, she participates in a variety of activities to include kayaking, hiking, and skiing and believes that fitness should be a lifestyle rather than a chore.

  • Hollis Helton

    NASM Certified Personal Trainer

    Originally from Tennessee, Hollis developed a passion for fitness and athletic performance through years of playing football. That drove him to become a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, specializing in strength training, speed and agility, and corrective exercise. His goal is to help clients move better, perform stronger, and stay injury free — whether you’re an athlete or just starting your fitness journey.
    He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, which helps him blend strong communication and motivation skills with personalized training strategies.
